Stonehenge










Stonehenge was produced by a culture that left no written records. Some very colorful theories, are often called the "mystery" of Stonehenge. Whatever religious, mystical or spiritual elements were central to Stonehenge, its design includes a celestial observatory function, which might have been an advanced calendar to predict and observe astronomical and seasonal events such as an eclipse, summer and winter solstice, and other important celestial events.
