Rock City.....rocks!

We're heading to Rock City!

Look, Matt is already in awe.

A little time to brace ourselves before we storm the tunnels, paths and waterfalls.

The goblins live here cultivate mushrooms in muddy fields. They gave the fair maiden special powers by the king of the goblins to pass through the cave.

Journey along the Enchanted Trail through the Grand Corridor. Follow the stone path that winds through massive rock boulders. Each step is a discovery!

Thread yourself through the amazing Needle's Eye, shoulder-to-shoulder with tall boulders that allow only slivers of sunlight to penetrate the shadows.

Little gnomes working in their village.

Tip, tap, tip, tap... two little billy goats crossing over the bridge trying not to wake the troll.

Magical garden furniture being tested.

The mother bird feeding it's babies.

Panning for gold!!

We found geodes, too.

Mother Nature and Father Time.

Lover's Leap, Observation Point and Seven States Flag Court offer some of the most spectacular and sweeping views found anywhere in the world. Rock City is home to the legendary "See 7 States" view, 1700 feet above sea level.

Their excitement can only be contained for so long! Logan said, "It all looks the same." He's right but where's the fun in that?

Some points of interest along The Enchanted Trail include the 100-foot waterfall, 1,000-ton balanced rock, Swing-A-Long Bridge, Legendary view of seven states from Lover's Leap, Fairyland Caverns and Mother Goose Village

And here's the waterfall now.

Matt scared for his life before gathering his wits using his Indiana Jones moves to make it to the other side.

And the rocks get narrower and narrower!

Magnificent views.

We happened to see a white fallow deer.

We are half way down the mountain going through another cave to "Fairy Land Caverns."

The trolls have been busy and left us to sight see.

Whew, an angry troll threw this large boulder. Thank goodness for the fair maiden who's special powers were able to lift this rock so everyone could pass safely.

Next stop, Fairy Land Caverns.
