Cheeseburger Cheeseburger

Made it to Chattanooga Main Street. Next stop Cheeseburger Cheeseburger!

Looking over the menu, there is a plethora of choices. Your able to choose the size of your burger along with the toppings including peanut butter, artichoke hearts, grey poupon, chipotle spread and Cavender's special seasoning.

OK the burger in the middle is the pounder! Those burgers next to it are the size of a Big Mac. You can see how enormous the pounder burger was and we had them cut it into quarters just to be able to pick it up.

Evan told his dad not to touch his burger but Matt just wouldn't listen. I guess Matt will have to think twice next time before sneaking food.

Cheeseburger Cheeseburger down... now to explore the town.

Taking over Chattanooga

Visiting our east coast family.

Mom and dad in their glory.

Grandpa and his latest girlfriend. That man has the moves.

Matt showing Evan the boats.

On the sidewalk, there are several dance steps with explanations. This one is "The Kiss" and on the girls left foot it states "lift".

A family game of football at the local park.

Kids dying after the family game of football in the park.

In front of the Tennessee Aquarium.

The steam boat with evening dinners and tours.

Duck tours... even in Tennessee.

Where else could you find a big comfy couch?

The Lone Star State - but we weren't so lone

The Lazy L Ranch was a great place to spend a week with our family. The ranch was enormous and there was plenty to do. I especially enjoyed spending time with my parents. It's been awhile since all the grandchildren were together. I loved watching my dad patiently helping one of the children with their fishing pole, making a stick to roast marshmallows, or showing them how to start a fire. My mother exercised more here walking to and from places than she had at home in years. This enormous place had an outdoor grill and separate bar. The "teenage" girls were the bartenders. They manned the blender and made some fantastic smoothies. The kids had a great time at the fishing pond. Even though not much fishing was done because the paddle boat was consistently being used. What special memories we shared. Now my nieces and nephews are wanting to visit me at "the ranch". Thanks to all my cousins who had me laughing all weekend. The visit was too short.

Paradise in the outdoors - Moab

Moab’s unique combination of beautiful red rock scenery, two national parks right on the Colorado River makes this one of our favorite hiking and driving destinations. There has been alot of flooding due to the rain and snow during our May visit. Still a short day hike is a must if you happen to drive through.

The Mayan Adventure

One of the most entertaining restaurants we have visited is in Salt Lake City. This Mayan themed restaurant has decent Mexican style food with delightful entertainment. There are several cliff diving shows while you are dining. The fire show was exceptional and the "Chocolate Eruption Cake" sent off it's own sparks.
