Honestly, I think that the famous Dumpling Banquet in Xian is ONLY reason Matt wanted to visit Xian. We were not leaving China until we visited this restaurant. It was a real treat! They brought dozens of different dumplings with different colors, fragrance, taste, and style. The dumplings were usually boiled but some were steamed, grilled and fried. We also had live music from a local who played an ancient Chinese instrument called a zheng.
