Overnight train ride to Xian, China

It took 3 taxis to bring all eleven of us to the train station. The place was massive. Luckily we had cell phones and were able to use signs for locations to meet. Lowell had the tickets and was the last one to arrive. We actually ran to the train with minutes to spare. We made it, barely, with kids in tow.

Whew, made it. Here comes our first overnight excursion.

The kids were in their pajamas but not ready for bed.

We had two cabins with four to a room. Hailey stayed in Amy and Lowell's cabin to even out the numbers. We packed two nights worth of items in two back packs.

The train bathroom! Hailey refused to use a squatter. I laughed because over half the bathrooms we went to were squatters and she would hold it til the next bathroom. You would hear a "YES!" when we came across a Western toilet.
