The Original Tour Bus - London

Whew, finally made it to London. We had a flat about 4 blocks from the "tube" system. Catching the tube can get you close to anywhere in downtown London.

Traveling with little kids, they always need a bathroom break or just when you get to your destination, they have to go and there is NO bathroom facilities. We stopped off at Victoria station, walked a half a mile and had to walk another half mile to find the public toilets. Just a FYI to those who haven't traveled afar, they usually charge for using the public bathrooms. Have your coins handy.

Walking towards our next stop, there were a few restaurants who deliver.

Of course, they have alot of bakeries.

Texas is never far from our mind. They even have Texas restaurants in London that serve no other than barbecue.

Riding an all day hop on and off bus, there are many historical sites and monuments to see.

Something neat to know, if royalty use a shop exclusively, they allow the shop owners to display their crest at the entrance of the store.

Queen Anne's statue, the figures on the base represent England, Ireland, France and North America – all of which Queen Anne laid claim to.

The London Bridge on the Thames River has existed at or near the present site since the Roman occupation nearly 2000 years ago.

This London school is where Daniel Radcliffe went to school, otherwise known as Harry Potter.

You can't leave London without seeing a taxi with the British flag painted on the outside.

Let me give you a hand with that.
