Driving across the country is not easy. So, we took a few stops on the way. First stop, Salt Lake City. We were able to visit family and very special friends on our way.

We went to a movie in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. The building is very ornate and you find a special calmness in the surroundings. There was a display of women's gowns from the early ninetieth century.

A replica of the Joseph Smith cabin.

The boys finding inner piece with the tree.

Visited a special showing of "MOTAB".
(Mormon Tabernacle Choir)

Watching the carriage rides down town.

Visiting Temple Square and seeing the many religious statues.

Pictures can never do justice to beauty of the buildings and the mountains. Being there and smelling the fresh mountain air and seeing snow peaked mountains was breath-taking. The warmth we received visiting our friends and family was priceless.
