The young girls coaxed us to take them for our first Henna experience. We drove to a local Indian beauty store and let the ladies go crazy. You have to wait 20 minutes or more for the henna to dry. Henna stains orange soon after application, but darken over the following three days to a reddish brown. We put olive oil on after we flaked off the henna to help intensify the color.
